Lesson 4: Where Are You Now?
Where are you starting from on this journey to financial wellness? Sort of like when we had to do the sit and reach in gym class, this will give us a baseline to measure against at the end of the program, and you will be able to see how far you’ve come!!!
Homework:
Here is the Personal Finance Checklist that I am going over in this lesson. Please print out, or write out on your own, and complete it (you might want to wait until after listening to the lesson). Then please keep it somewhere safe that you can return to later on to see what you’ve been kicking butt on. Do not start trying to accomplish all the things on the list! That is what this course is for, and I’m going to walk you through and remind you of each of these as we go.
My only request for an action item is that you DO schedule in your weekly money time on your calendar for the foreseeable future. Think about a 30 minute block of time that you can reliably find during the week when your brain is functioning at least semi-optimally (like not at 11pm probably). Then please keep it somewhere that you can return to later on to see what you’ve been kicking butt on.
