I really love getting people organized and inspired with their money, and moving towards the goals that matter most to them in life. A+'s all around!

I didn’t set out to become a money coach, but the universe has been steering me in this direction since 2014 when I started my own personal finance revolution. In 2014 I was 25 years old, pregnant with my first baby and had zero savings. We were living off of my partner’s tiny salary while I was finishing up my midwifery training, and I took my pregnancy nesting urges out on getting our finances organized.

I tried every app out there at the time and eventually went full throttle on using YNAB (You Need a Budget). I took to it intuitively, and within a matter of months I had made a plan for our spending and saving, and finally felt like we would be able to buy our home in a reasonable timeline. I experienced peace and clarity with money for the first time!

We bought our first home in 2016, remodeled it without taking on massive debt, and sold it for a huge profit in 2019 so that we could move into our dream home on 5 acres to start a hobby farm right outside the city. I started my midwifery business in 2016 and used YNAB to manage the businesses cashflow and accounting.

I have been referring friends to YNAB for years (I had already started 30 people on it BEFORE deciding to become a money coach!). In 2022 decided it was time for me to also move into money coaching because in my niche over at Indie Birth I was seeing that these women (holistic, smart, intuitive, brave, paradigm shifting) have an enormous need for financial literacy, budget coaching, and money mindset shifts.

So I enrolled in The Financial Coach Academy for a broader education and the YNAB Certified Coaching Program to get really specific tool based training. That combined with my midwifery experience has put me in a position where I am so ready to coach you through the “birth” of your budget and your new relationship with money.
